Founder of financial advice website, Moneymagpie.com, Jasmine Birtles is also a world-renowned financial commentator, journalist, author and TV and radio presenter. Jasmine focuses on advice for spending less, making more and investing in a secure future. She also comments on issues such as retail trends, entrepreneurship, house prices and interest rates.
Jasmine is a regular keynote and public speaker, hosting conferences for companies such as BT, IBM, Ernst and Young, Barclays and Sainsbury’s. She regularly appears as a financial expert on Good Morning Britain, BBC Breakfast, This Morning, BBC News, Channel 4 News and Sky News.
She also campaigns for financial education, advice on pensions and housing issues.
Debra brings 30 years experience in HR, with senior level roles at Fortune 500 companies like Gap, Quintiles and Honeywell. An expert in global reward and employee communication, her teams have won numerous awards for their innovative solutions and she was named Employee Benefits professional of the year in 2012. Her first book, a practical model and guide to Effective HR Communication, was published in 2015 and her second, Build It: The Rebel Playbook for World Class Employee Engagement comes out in Feb 2018. She is a teacher for WorldatWork and speaks at conferences worldwide on reward and company culture, as well as writing on Reward Gateway’s company blog.
Janet brings 17 years of HR experience; she has spent 11 years specialising in Reward and Benefits at Virgin Holidays, Direct Line Insurance and currently Transport for London.
A specialist in employee benefits and communications, Janet has continued to drive employee engagement while ensuring value-for-money with cost-efficient budgets. The promotion of the Total Reward concept has been a key focus, launching total reward statements at both Virgin Holidays and TfL, as well as ongoing reward communications to support employee engagement. At Direct Line, she worked on the delivery of a new proposition for a flexible and core benefits platform, along with ongoing benefits management and communications to ensure employee value and ease of administration. In her current role, Janet manages TfL employee benefits, with the aim of promoting the wider reward package and the value benefits bring to driving engagement. This has included re-launching SmartHub®, helping employees make their money go further.
Janet has led TfL to win awards at the Engagement Excellence Awards in both 2016 and 2017.
