As the cost-of-living crisis continues, more and more employees are feeling the pinch — CIPD research found that 33 per cent of people struggled to keep up with their bills in 2023, and 12 per cent felt constantly overwhelmed by financial pressures. This stress is spilling into the workplace, with 67 per cent of younger employees saying they would like more financial help from their employers.

It’s clear, then, that if companies want to keep their teams happy and motivated, they need to step up.  But what does that look like?
