Annabel's team at Global look after all aspects of people and culture. This includes resourcing, pay and benefits, employee relations, learning and development, engagement and internal communications. Annabel previously held a range of HR roles at O2, Office World, TKMaxx and Tesco.
Dr Jill Miller joined the CIPD in 2008 and her research covers a range of HR capability and people management issues. She leads on the CIPD’s annual Absence Management survey in partnership with Simplyhealth, regularly discussing current issues at conferences, events and in the media. The survey provides useful benchmarking data for organisations on the cost and causes of absence, as well as focusing on employee well-being and topical issues.
Jill is also responsible for the CIPD’s 2012 HR Outlook survey which provides insight and thought leadership about HR at a strategic level. It compares the views of HR and non-HR leaders about how HR drives long term business performance (both now and in future) to provoke discussion and debate within the HR profession and drive leading-edge practice.
Jill is a psychology graduate with a postgraduate masters and PhD in Management. Previously, Jill was lecturing at Reading University on International Human Resource Management.
Karen Minicozzi is vice president at Workday and is responsible for human capital management product strategy for Europe, the Middle East, and Africa. Karen joined Workday in 2007 and has held various roles across the organisation in sales and services.
In this new role, Karen will be focusing on how technology can align HR more strategically with business. Prior to Workday, Karen worked in HR software sales at PeopleSoft and SAP, and before this she spent more than 15 years as an HR practitioner with the US Federal Government. Karen holds a bachelor’s degree in Russian studies and psychology from the University of Virginia.
