CloseGood employee experience (EX) drives more than simply engagement: it attracts talent; it affects customer experience; it has a clear bottom line impact. And, at the top of the agenda for both customers and employees, is purpose. Businesses need to consider it carefully.
Purpose is a must-have, not a nice-to-have. The marketplace for top talent is ultra competitive, so companies that truly live and breathe their brand purpose succeed. Today, customers and employees want to support and be a part of companies that act responsibly towards both people and planet.
Following the launch of People Management’s EX50 report earlier this year – a report that celebrates those leaders championing employee experience – we're hosting a webinar in partnership with Zone. We’re exploring the importance of purpose in your employer value proposition and looking at practical ways to balance obligations to shareholders alongside wider society – as well as showing how a brand’s purpose inspires growth.
Join us for this important, interactive discussion where EX leaders explain how a clear brand purpose drives business culture and employee and customer attraction – as well as learning ways to help your business successfully find and refocus its purpose.

CloseSarah joined London Legacy Development Corporation in 2019 as Director for People and Organisational Development, partnering with all of the Executive Directors to engage and retain talent, and foster an inclusive culture and a meaningful commitment to diversity. Sarah grew up in Nottinghamshire, studied in Liverpool, spent time living in Spain, Germany, France and Switzerland, as well as travelling further afield, and has now lived in Hackney and Tower Hamlets for the past 20 years. She has a real passion for east London – the place and its people. She lives really close to Queen Elizabeth Olympic Park, and has seen huge change in the area – to be a part of that now feels like a real privilege.
Prior to joining LLDC, Sarah had a varied career in HR within a large global bank. She began her HR career in Graduate Recruitment, travelling globally to attract the best talent, with a particular passion for widening opportunity for candidates with disabilities. After an 18 month career break to travel the world, Sarah followed her passion for inclusive cultures, by resuming her career in Diversity and Inclusion, working across Europe, Middle East and Africa. She then progressed to focus on Leadership across the region, leading the strategic direction of increasing leadership capability regionally, and delivering leadership programmes throughout Europe, Middle East and Africa to a diverse range of participants. After a period of maternity leave with her first child, Sarah focused on Learning and Development more broadly, helping employees across the region to realise their potential. Following her return to work after her second child, Sarah led Talent, Learning and Diversity for the Institutional Clients’ Group across Europe, Middle East and Africa.
Sarah is also a Governor for a local primary school, and lives in Hackney with her 2 children and husband.
